Iren Aleksandrina is wholly attached with St. Petersburg where she studied in Russian's Arts Academy from 1984 to 1991 and the main of her work became city St Petersburg. During the study on architectural faculty with professor V. S. Volonsevich she attended course of painting technics with professor Andrecov. Iren Aleksandrina enjos painting urban scenes. Her attention is mostly directed at the most beautiful parts of cities - squares, parks, streets. But in spite of all those attractive elements, the main subject in Aleksandrina's landscapes is light and form, patterns of value and color. At the same time each painting is a story about the city at different times of the day or seasons of the year.
